Vote by Mail (Absentee)
ALL VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT REQUESTS FROM 2024 HAVE EXPIRED. You must request a new one for 2026.
Submit a request at SarasotaVotes.gov/Vote-by-Mail or call 941.861.8618 no later than 5 p.m. on the 12th day before the election. Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the elections office no later than 7 p.m. on election night to be counted and may be returned by mail or dropped off in person to an elections office during regular business hours (M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) or at an early voting location during early voting days and times.
Vote Early (in Person)
In-person early voting is held for a minimum of eight days prior to election day at multiple early voting sites located throughout Sarasota County. Voters may vote at any early voting site they choose. Visit SarasotaVotes.gov/Early-Voting for a complete list of early voting locations, days and times. Be sure to bring current and valid photo ID when voting in person.
Vote on Election Day
On election day, you must vote at your assigned polling location which is indicated on your voter information card. You can also use the Find My Precinct tool at SarasotaVotes.gov to confirm your polling location. Polls are open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Be sure to bring current and valid photo ID when voting in person.
